As the first annual Avalanche Tour featuring Stone Sour, Theory of a Deadman, Skillet, Halestorm and Art of Dying gears up to launch March 24 in Chicago, additional shows have been added in Richmond, VA (5/3), Pittsburgh, PA (5/6), Charlotte, NC (5/7) and Jacksonville, FL (5/8). Tickets are on sale now at: www.AvalancheTour.com/tour-dates (see full itinerary below).
In connection with the Avalanche Tour, F.Y.E. (For Your Entertainment)–in partnership with Warner Bros. Records, Roadrunner Records, and Atlantic Records–is giving fans of Stone Sour, Theory of a Deadman, Skillet, Halestorm and Art of Dying a chance to be the Avalanche Tour official Pit Reporter Paparazzi. At each Avalanche Tour show, one winner and a guest will gain entrance to the show, as well as a photo pass allowing access to the photo pit to photograph the first three songs of all five Avalanche Tour bands. These special fan-perspective photos will be displayed in an exclusive gallery on www.AvalancheTour.com. For official rules and to enter the contest, go to www.AvalancheTour.com.
F.Y.E., which operates over 500 stores in 47 states, is a leader in music, DVD and related accessories. They will be promoting The Avalanche Tour Pit Reporter Paparazzi contest via FYE-TV throughout April and will also be using their social media outlets to promote this contest. Follow them on Twitter @FYEGUY and on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/fyeguy.
Fans can also win a chance to interview their favorite Avalanche Tour band through the “Interview An Avalanche Band Contest.” Five lucky winners will be able to interview Corey Taylor (Stone Sour), Tyler Connolly (Theory of a Deadman), John Cooper (Skillet), Lzzy Hale (Halestorm) or Jonny Hetherington (Art of Dying). To enter, first purchase a ticket to an Avalanche show, and then go to: http://AvalancheTour.com/2011/new-contest-interview-an-avalanche-band/.
