CLINGING TO THE TREES OF A FOREST FIRE’s Visceral 10″ EP was released via Prosthetic Records last Summer, and set a new landmark in brutality for the band. Surging with six tracks in barely sixteen minutes of the band’s angriest, grating grind/sludge attack to date, Exclaim called the release “one big bad touch of visceral grind/sludge that’s also an experiment in abstraction, where undifferentiated noise meets the experience of a physical barrage”, and hometown Denver weekly Westword stated that Visceral “achieves an electrifying alchemy of despair and rebellion against personal demons.”
