This Tuesday, June 12th sees the long-awaited release of Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs’ debut album Trouble, and today he is announcing a summer tour of North America. TEED is also sharing Miguel Campbell’s pulsing remix of “Stronger,” one of the standout tracks on Trouble. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs has already gained an incredible reputation for his live shows, with his raucous festival dates becoming the stuff of legend, and recent sellout tours of UK, Europe and the States, consolidating his position as one of the most creative and vital new artists around right now.
One of the most anticipated electronic albums of the year, Trouble finds him completely immersed in the role of vocalist, singing throughout, providing the story with a genuine heartfelt quality. Of course this is paired with his trademark sub-bass, electro bounciness and washed-out synths that combine to create a stunning piece of modern dancefloor pop.
As Orlando Higginbottom (aka TEED himself) comments: “I hoped to make a record that felt free from the frequent short-lived trends in dance music, and that made sense to a dancer and a listener. I feel like I’ve been working on this debut album for ages and now I can’t wait to get it out there.”
