From the critically acclaimed debut album ‘World, You Need A Change Of Mind’, Adam Bainbridge, aka Kindness releases “That’s Alright” on September 2nd.
Led by a sultry, ruminative saxophone solo, the track revels in the funk-infused go-go scene, eventually emerging as a dream alliance of Nile Rodgers, Giorgio Moroder and Afrika Bambaataa circa 1985.
Kindness was recently at Radio 1’s Maida Vale studios to record what turned out to be one of Zane Lowe’s “Favourite sessions of the year”. The live recording of “That’s Alright” will be featured as the b-side on the upcoming single – listen here:
Following sold-out performances in London and Manchester around the release of the album, and with a string of dates at festivals across the globe, Kindness ends the year with a headline show at London’s Heaven on November 7. Those fortunate enough to have caught Kindness live band will attest, the show will be an unmissable chance to witness ‘World, You Need A Change Of Mind’ brought to life in a luscious fashion.
