Bass player Maya Vik has presented her modern, eccentric brand of electronic funk pop at Pianos NYC every Monday in September. She has previously opened for Lenny Kravitz, toured Japan, Russia, Holland, Germany and her native Norway, won Norwegian Grammy with Montée, played in Savoy with a-Ha’s Paul Waaktaar, and released two solo albums. Maya recently collaborated with label-mate Proviant Audio on the track “Be For Me” which will appear on Proviant Audio’s upcoming LP, ‘Drift Days And Disco Nights’ on October 11th.
