Albanian-American singer and songwriter Bebe Rexha releases the video for her debut single “I Can’t Stop Drinking About You”.

“I Can’t Stop Drinking About You” is about that gut-sinking feeling you get right after your heart’s been broken,” explains Bebe to Billboard in the premiere of the video. “I wanted the song to be a snapshot of how someone feels at that exact moment. The video is modest and raw, and I tried to capture that feeling of heart break and the whirlwind of the emotions that come with it: a little bit of anger, frustration, sadness, the craziness, and the fear of the unknown. It’s the aftermath of love gone wrong.”

Directed by Michael Mihail of Guerilla Hollywood (Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Jason Derulo, Trey Songz), the ode to a scorned love was shot in Los Angeles’ Echo Park at the former home of the #2 suspect of the Black Dahlia murder and the creator/sculptor of the Maltese Falcon statue, Fred Sexton.  The single is currently available for download at iTunes at http://smarturl.it/ICSDAYSingle.

Known for penning hits like Eminem and Rihanna‘s “Monster” and Cash Cash‘s “Take Me Home,” the New York native is finally ready to step out as a solo performer with her upcoming debut on Warner Bros. Records.   The former lead singer of Pete Wentz‘ band Black Cards, the 24-year old was listed as one of Billboard‘s “Buzzing, Breaking, Blowing Up” acts who will help define 2014 aside Sam Smith, Sage the Gemini, and Rita Ora.
While she has worked on melodies for the likes of Usher, Tinashe, and more, it’s her love for electronic soundscapes that earned her spot in USA Today‘s “Meet the Vocal Wizards Behind EDM’s Biggest Hits” for her work with Cash Cash, Pierce Fulton and David Guetta.
