Blanche De Chambly

Blanche De Chambly pours with an incredibly small amount of head and a hazy golden coloration. There is a little sugar and orange that can be discerned from the beer’s nose, while the first cursory sips yield hints of wheat, citrus fruits, and sweeter flavors. The beer is refreshing and sits in a position between more wheaty and fruity efforts; there is a considerable constellation of flavors that one can discern in a single 12 ounce serving of Blanche De Chambly.

As the beer continues to open up, apricot and lemon can be tasted; the malt and wheat sides of the beer fade slightly into the background. When one nears the end of Blanche De Chambly, there is a small sour note that begins to build up. It acts as a palette cleanser in the sense that subsequent quaffs will contribute a bold new series of flavors and tastes. With this continual refreshing, it will not be surprising when one finishes a bottle of the beer in little more than a few larger pulls. Make sure to take larger and smaller drinks of Blanche De Chambly for the full experience; this is truly a deep and dense beer despite its bright and airy disposition.

This witbier goes down easily no matter what it is paired with; Blanche De Chambly will work perfectly with any sort of fish, chicken, or beef dish.
