After long deliberation and discussion with our staff members, we have changed the review policies of NeuFutur Magazine. We will still review everything you send, but have changed the minimum length of a review that we promise a project.
The new minimums will be:
200+ words: Single CDs , Music Videos, Duration/Read Length < 5 Minutes
250+ words: Zines
300+ words: EPs (1-6 songs), TV Episodes, Short Films, Duration/Read Length <25 Minutes
400+ words: LPs, Multiple TV Episodes, Feature Films, Duration/Read Length <200 Minutes
500+ words: Box Sets (2+ CDs/DVDs), Season Series, Set of Feature Films, Duration/Read Length <400 Minutes
Note that these are just minimum word counts. If a reviewer is taken by a project, DVD, CD, or the like, the review may be 1,000 words. It just has been hard to create descriptive and interesting reviews that run for 400+ words over a three minute single.
