The album has 12 songs and it is on Kill Rock Stars. It was released in 1995. All but one of these songs are played with an acoustic, with little bass or drums. The songs are 1960’s sounding with political messages. I like the messages he sings about, but his playing of the songs is almost lullaby-like. This is a perfect indicator of what the former grungeheads are doing in Washington now. This is indie-rock to the max. The cd gains speed after a slow start. This is exactly the type of music they play on the wedge. The singing style can be compared to Shawn Lennon. He writes all of his own songs. The song times range from Punk-song times to normal song times (1:30-4:30). Look for the second part of the review, as I review Either/Or!
