I realize that this issue is old, and that Anne has a new issue out, but I felt that I should write another review of this zine to rteplace the one that was eaten when the host that I was placed on went down permanently. This zine is an excellent one, mainly related to body image and other feminist issues, and it just really is interesting to see how someone that is high school feels about these specific topic. My favorite pieces in this issue include “I Was A Media Whore”, a piece in wehich Anne recounts her experience as a Seventeen model, and “What Scares Me Most”, which makes sure to inform her readership about the True Love Waits movement, a group that I had no clue about before I first read this magazine. Lists are used pretty often in this issue, and while too many lists can definitely be a bad thing, Anne spreads them out in such a way and uses different topics about each that it does not get repetitive in the least. Write Anne at Firedance912@hotmail.com or send her $1 at Anne Flor-Stagnato, 2101 Park Ave., South Plainfield NJ 07080. Rock! Issue #3, and maybe even #4 is out now!
