Frightened Rabbit will return to the States this month on the heels of their just-released critically acclaimed sophomore LP, THE MIDNIGHT ORGAN FIGHT, and will be extending their tour, adding dates in New York and Los Angeles. The band will be joined on the month-long jaunt by The French Kicks for the first leg followed by Oxford Collapse. While in Seattle, Frightened Rabbit will stop in at KEXP for a live, on-air session June 18 at 3 pm PST.
The foursome has been experiencing a frenzy of activity following the album’s release, which currently resides at #21 on BILLBOARD’S Alternative New Artist Albums Chart and #52 on the Top New Artist Albums Chart. Last night, album track “Good Arms Vs. Bad Arms” appeared in an episode of the Emmy-award winning ABC series “Grey’s Anatomy.” The video for the band’s first single, “Head Rolls Off,” which places the guys in a Scottish classroom full of rambunctious school children, will premiere nationally on MTV2’s “Subterranean” this Sunday, May 11.
