This issue of WIPE really felt as if it was done by a different person. With issues #8 and #11, and yes I did review them in a weird order, the zine felt so much more personal. I don?t know whats up with this issue. I sound harsh, but I’m not intending to be. This issue of the magazine still has it over on about 80% of the zines I’ve ever read, but this issue seems more to try covering all aspects? from book and music reviews to poetry to show reviews to interviews, and the focus just seems to be a little weaker than in other issues. Saying that, there are some definite nuggets of gold in this issue, including the Vanilla Ice review and the 50 ways to get rid of a blind date. Check out my other reviews of WIPE and I?m sure you will end up ordering it. I don?t know what issue they are up to now, but make sure to get it. The latest issue that I received said to go and send two stamps, so go and do that. The address is at The World Would be a much better place if everybody wore tight pants, PO Box 577, St. James, NY 11780.
