There is a sense a lot of times that protein bars are just like other workout products on the market – they taste horrible but are needed to increase the amount of fitness that one has. As a result, I think that a great deal of different protein bars that are on the market get by with a sub-optimum taste. However, Designer Whey has created a line of protein bars that have all the required nutrients present while still having a great flavor profile.
Their new protein bar line has three different flavor expressions – Triple Crunch Chocolate, Chocolate Caramel Crunch and Peanut Butter Crunch – while each bar contains a full 10 grams of protein. The additional vitamins that are present – Vitamins B and D – will ensure that bones are kept strong while energy levels are maintained through the bulk of a workout. Designer Whey has created these protein bars with a size that is much smaller than many on the marker (1.41oz versus 2-4 ounces) – those that have a smaller appetite will be able to finish their entire bar.
Take a test of the Designer Whey bars – a 12 count box will run about $30 – and see how you can fit them into your normal workout routine. I found myself to be a bigger fan of Triple Crunch Chocolate and Chocolate Caramel Crunch, but the Peanut Butter Crunch bar does a great job in just showcasing a small amount of the goopy stuff. Keeping things all natural, those individuals that are more into the raw or primal diets will be able to use these to build significant muscle, do tons of reps, and be back to the gym the next day.
