Los Angeles based American Bloomers have recently released their debut EP Part One with a string of regional shows coming and a plan for a full release in 2012, this is only the beginning for the threesome. At the core the band is a trio of songwriters featuring Jaime Wyatt on lead vocals and guitars, and siblings Jane Sheldon and Jonathan Sheldon on vocals, guitars and pianos.
With Wyatt’s soaring vocals and guitar and the Sheldons’ harmonies and instruments blending together to create a classic sound that is broad and anthemic at certain moments, yet vulnerable and intimate at others. Endlessly poppy, galactically ambitious, and rich with honest, candid emotion, this is what a rock record is supposed to sound like.

Raised in Southern California the bandmates grew up around both music and film, surrounded by the transformative power of both art forms and learned at an early age that both, entertain, educate, provoke, persuade, move and motivate. This motivated Jonathan to grow up with a foot planted firmly in both worlds, independent film-maker by day and American Bloomers guitarist by night.
