Kimberly Amato has tested her mettle as an author with a new title, Steele Resolve. The work focuses around the ever-changing life of Jasmine Steele after the death of her brother. Tasked with finding those that dispatched her relation, Steele has to deduce and locate those that perpetuated this horrible deed.
The writing style of Amato is wholly immersive, with scenarios as rich as those provided in top-tier film (Taken) or television (CSI, NCIS, Castle).
The title does a great job in establishing the desires and motivations for characters as well as fleshing out the scenery. The dialogue here is realistic and feels as if individuals would honestly be saying it, while the conclusion of the title allows Amato to go forward and create additional titles in the Jasmine Steele mythos. It would be very easy for Amato to make this storyline into a multi-volume series a la Sherlock Holmes or Agatha Christie’s Marple. The main story expressed in Steele Resolve is taut and will have readers on the edges of their seats from the beginning to the end of the work.
