Micah Lee’s “Clap My Way” is a tremendous track, including a robust instrumentation fuzz of funky bass lines, on-point drums, and guitars inserted at all the right points. On top of these instrumentation inclusions, Micah Lee’s voice resounds loudly. The song is ensconsed in the gospel genre, but has a pop-facing sound to it that could have the single chart on adult contemporary or R&B radio stations and playlists. The back and forth between Micah and the chorus on Clap My Way pushes the song into a higher pleateau. Simply perfect in its execution, Clap My Way is a bonafide hit for Micah Lee.
