Born in Brooklyn, New York, raised in Kinston, North Carolina, Geda Lion started rapping at the age of ten. He served in the Army for two years before moving to Hinesville, Georgia, where he started rapping with a group called Team Affiliate. The group was offered a record deal by Ruff Ryders in 2003. However, Team Affiliate broke up and Geda moved to Germany, where he started his solo career. He was featured on records with Loquaze, The Attics and DJ Vision One. In 2004 Geda Lion released his first mixed tape in Germany called “Welcome to Da Lion Den.”
Over the next 8 years they encountered many more ups and downs including founding a music production company and did remixes for Sportfreunde Stiller, Emilbulls and Rufus Martin; and wrote commercial music for Maybach, BMW, Microsoft, Pro7, Kunert, and more. It’s now time to release the new album The Hustle, The Struggle, The Outcome produced by German producer Dunnho and in stores 6/28.
