The new single by LEL Brothas, “Bad Guy”, is a tremendously hard-hitting track that will burn its way into fans’ brains. Hints of horrorcore (e.g. Tech N9ne, Gravediggaz) can be heard here, but the beauty of Bad Guy has to be the inimitable vocal styles of the act. Differentiation of the flows from each Brotha is essential as it adds considerably to the song; the resulting effort is radio-ready while coming forth as gritty and realistic. Coolio’s bars on Bad Guy fit with the track while ramping up the momentum as listeners hurtle on until the end; Bad Guy is a bonafide hit.
