Jim Peterik’s (Survivor) “American Dreamer” is a retro-styled track that would be perfectly at home in the biggest stadiums of the 1980s. There’s a vitality to the composition here that will draw in any fans of Foreigner, Journey or Stan Bush. The chorus is infecitous to the degree that fans will be singing along after their first few experiences with the effort. Of particular note during American Dreamer has to be Peterik’s vocals and the guitars that rise up into prominence at all the right places. A must-play for anyone wanting to celebrate the best country in the world.
