After the Women’s Euro competition in 2025, we have been exposed to a whole host of upcoming talents who are set to take over the beautiful game in the years to come. The development of women’s football has been incredible, and a worldwide effort that has allowed the sport to be more accessible and provide proper facilities for young women who may not have had the opportunity to play in the past. This has allowed for a whole new generation of young talent to fly through the ranks and pierce into first teams on the biggest of stages, much like in the men’s game.

As women’s football continues to grow in global popularity, its influence is being felt across sport and entertainment alike – from documentary series and merchandise to digital spaces where casino games and other interactive platforms often draw on football-inspired themes.

So today, we will be taking a look at 10 rising stars that are set to dominate and shape women’s football in the years to come.

Olivia Smith

A name that is on the tongue of football fans around the world, Olivia Smith is slowly cementing her name as one of the most promising youngsters in the sport. The 21 year old has made a great impression in the WSL after a standout season with Liverpool, playing a vital role in their survival, before making the move to Arsenal, becoming the first £1 million transfer in women’s football.

Aggie Beaver Jones

Lining herself up to become one of England’s future stars for the 2027 World Cup, Aggie Beaver Jones has impressed ever since her return to Chelsea after consecutive loan spells at Bristol City and Everton, impressing Emma Hayes into considering her for the first team. Since then, she has received several England call-ups, even netting six goals at the age of 22.

Katie Reid

Another promising English youngster is centre back Katie Reid. The 19 year old has edged her way into Arsenal’s first team off the back of a successful loan at Watford and a positive start to the season for the Gunners. Unfortunately for Reid, after receiving her first national team call-up, she has been forced to withdraw through injury, but it won’t be the last we see of her.

Hannah Hampton

One of the older players on this list, Hannah Hampton, is an incredible goalkeeper who has already established herself as potentially one of the best in the world. The two time WSL winner with Chelsea made her name in the 2025 Euros win, becoming a hero in the final. As a result, she claimed the Yashin Trophy at the 2025 Ballon d’Or, setting up a bright future for the shot stopper.

Sandy Baltimore

Baltimore has made an impressive start to her life at Chelsea after departing from the French side PSG. The 25 year old is electric on the ball, with direct runs and a relentless pace that is helping to push the London club closer to the WSL title yet again. Her impact on the French national team can also not be overlooked, with the potential to play a big part in their push for the 2027 World Cup.

Weike Kaptein

The 2025 Kopa Trophy nominee, Weike Kaptein, is another one of Chelsea’s promising young squad this year, showing her class in midfield after an impressive loan at FC Twente the previous year. The 20 year old has even achieved several Dutch call-ups, preparing her for the 2027 World Cup, which could be a standout tournament for the youngster.

Grace Clinton

The former Manchester United youngster made her move to the blue side of the city in 2025, signing for bitter rivals Manchester City. Her impressive loan spells to both Bristol City and Spurs impressed both Manchester clubs, with increased gametime with the Red Devils resulting in City snapping up the 22 year old England international.

Maika Hamano

Yet another example of one of Chelsea’s young stars who are shining this year, Maika Hamano is a Japanese international, already making an impact in the WSL at the age of 21. After moving to London in 2023, she has begun to show her quality and is certainly a player to look out for in the future.

Michelle Agyemang

Agyemang is a name that is already being written in English football history, becoming a hero in helping England to their second European Championship title. A late goal in both the semi-final and final put England through to penalties, which they won both times, creating a big headline surrounding the 19 year old forward which no doubt will be documented for eternity on social media, as well as with books and film. She’s yet to return to Arsenal after her loan spell, but may play a key part for the Gunners in the future.

Mary Fowler

Despite already having a wide range of experience, Mary Fowler still hasn’t reached her ceiling for potential. The 22 year old Australian midfielder has already made an impact in both France at Montpellier and in England at Manchester City, fighting to get her hands on her first piece of club silverware. Her talent is undeniable, and will only continue to grow as more and more games go by.
