It has been a few years since we have had the opportunity to review an act from Israel, and Jive 645 is the perfect continuance of solid acts coming from that side of the world. “Ma Nishar” is how many listeners will be able to learn about Jive 64, and there simply cannot be a better introduction. This dancer track touches upon all forms of the genre, linking together disco, techno, and even Madonna over the course of the track. “Music” is a track that should be present in all dance clubs this summer. While including the same type of retro approaches that “Ma Nishar” did, there seems to be a solid appreciation of the current state of music.

Hints of the music backing up both Britney Spears and Lady Gaga are present here, making this into a track that will get everyone out on the dance floor. “Without It” may just be the best track on “Go To 10”, as It showcases the intelligence that went into the creation of the instrumentation for the track. Far from being sounds that will keep listeners interested, there is a decidedly narrative style to the track that will have listeners continuing to spin the track until that time when they are confident that they know exactly what Jive 64 is attempting to. Regardless of how individuals take the track (as merely something to go on the dance floor to or something more significant than that), it represents one of the highest points on this album.

The quicker tempo of “Any Love” is fundamentally different from any of the other tracks on “Go To 10”, and it provides further evidence to the immense ability of Jive 64; the track uses a little bit of Latin and Donna Summer-esque disco rhythms to further bolster this quicker sound, resulting in yet another dance floor anthem. Where it seems as if the dance genre has stagnated over the course of the last few decades, what Jive 64 does on his “Go To 10” is revitalize and recast the genre in a bold new way. If you want to see what dance music of the future will sound like, give this disc a buy.
