Stef Chura “Scream”

On Scream, Stef Chura is able to call back to early Sonic Youth and The Pretenders. A bit of guitar fuzz meshes nicely with splashing drums and a bass line that plays at the bottom of the track. There is a rare sort of charisma that Stef brings here that builds upon the tradition of Patty Smith and Courtney Love. Scream has a decidedly intricate set of musical arrangements that virtually ensure that fans will have to play the single multiple times to hear everything that has been placed within. View the video for Scream below and let us know what you think. Calling back to the 1980s and 1990s while making things vibrant and contemporary, Stef Chura has a hit on her hands with Scream.
