This “EP” version starts out with “Seed of Wonder”, a track that blows away any conception that I might have had about Hoop before playing this disc. There are so many instrumental and vocal layers in this track that individuals can be satisfied one of twelve different ways. In much the same way, Hoop et al change things up considerably a number of times during the track, while still being able to subjugate the disparate elements of the track into a cohesive introduction.

The six-minute runtime of this track can be ignored considering the amount of material that individuals can sink their teeth into and stick with for the entirety of the track. “Enemy” is the second track on the disc, and it provides a much more subtle and indie approach to things where “Seed of Wonder” went at it in a hip-hop meets electronic type of sound. While individuals will not be incited by “Enemy” as much as they were with “Seed of Wonder”, the same attention to detail and intricate arrangements present themselves during this track. The EP finishes up with “Money”, a track that splits the uprights between the sounds and styles of the first few tracks nicely. Jesea Hoop is the next big thing; I know that I will search out the full length whenever I get to a CD shop.
