Chicago’s Smith Westerns, who recently signed with Fat Possum, have announced a handful of upcoming dates including a Northeast run of shows with Florence & The Machine and a Chicago date opening for Belle & Sebastian. The band’s debut self-titled LP was just given a wide release via Fat Possum and the band is currently wrapping up its as-of-yet untitled sophomore LP, which is due in early 2011.
