Waterstreet is a four-piece band with frontman Evan Hand, guitarist Joe Shadid, bassist Mike Crusen and drummer Rob Gould. They have recorded 3 albums with the most recent being their EP Of Gossip, released July 30, 2010. The group’s sound combines a modern edge with vintage attitude.
Waterstreet has opened for Blue Öyster Cult, Tantric, Vince Neil, Jackyl, Gin Blossoms, and Greg Rollie’s Santana. The band has been featured on WXRT Chicago and played notable festivals/venues: Milwaukee’s Summerfest, Illinois’ Summer Camp, Taste of Chicago, Whisky A Go Go & Key Club (LA), Trash Bar (Brooklyn), Fontanas (NYC), Mercy Lounge (Nashville), and many Chicago venues. In Fall 2008 the band made it to the top six out of 8,000 bands in the national competition, ‘Make Rock History’ sponsored by Guitar Center. During the competition the band performed in front of judges Mötley Crüe at a sold out Whisky A Go Go.
