PROSTHETIC RECORDS has signed Chicago, IL death metal quintet, BLACK SEPTEMBER. The band, who formed in 2006 based on their love of acts such as Bolt Thrower, His Hero Is Gone and Bathory, amongst others, has released several EPs and self released their debut full length, “The Forbidden Gates Beyond,” last year. The band commented on the signing: “The time has come. Drums on “The Forbidden Gates Beyond,” were recorded at Gremlen Studios in Aurora, IL and the rest of the album was tracked at Bricktop Recording in Chicago, IL (Veil of Maya, Millions, Set Your Goals). It was mastered by Collin Jordan at the Boiler Room (Nachtmystium, Minsk, Gates of Slumber, Zoroaster).
