In conjunction with the new and timely Burns & Poe single release, “I Need A Job,” (Blue Steel Records), Keith Burns and Michelle Poe have announced the launch of the corresponding I Need A Job Contest.
Addressing one of America’s hottest topics, both politically and socially, Burns & Poe are encouraging one and all to share their personal story or sentiment surrounding the unemployment issue. Contestants are asked to create their own lyric video of the new Burns & Poe tune, “I Need A Job,” via photos, graphics or video footage and post to any and all general public web pages and social sites (ex. YouTube, Facebook, etc.). The contestant whose lyric video garners the most views will win a job as a temporary intern and member of the Burns & Poe Team. To enable the winning country music enthusiast a hands-on opportunity to experience the inner workings of the music industry, the Burns & Poe intern will divide his or her time and responsibilities between the booking agency, the label, the road crew, and the publicity and management company (Bazel Group/Blue Steel Records/Burns & Poe Road Crew/Graham Artist Management/Music City Media/Ontourage Management).
Employment will be for a one-week period (Monday through Friday); the Burns & Poe intern will receive compensation in the amount of $500 for their time and service. The start-date will be mutually decided upon by the winning contestant and an official member of the Burns & Poe Team. One winner will be selected (based on posts/hits) and announced on the Burns & Poe web page on Friday, October 28, 2011.

Must be 21 years or older to enter. In addition to creating/posting the lyric video, contestants must submit their name, address, telephone number, date of birth, video posting I.D./title to the designated Burns & Poe email address: theburnsandpoe@gmail.com. One winner will be chosen; a representative of Burns & Poe will notify. (All decisions are final.)
