AWOLNATION has launched their latest endeavor, the “MEGALITHIC MAYHEM” video game. “MEGALITHIC MAYHEM,” now playable online at www.MegalithicMayhem.com and http://apps.facebook.com/megalithicmayhem/, was created with Pod Digital Design, a leading interactive branded entertainment company, specializing in game and entertainment-based applications for web, mobile and Facebook. “MEGALITHIC MAYHEM” will also be available as an app for mobile devices in early 2012.
“MEGALITHIC MAYHEM” features the characters of AWOLNATION battling creatures featured in their latest video for the single “Not Your Fault.” Three different interactive scenes include the Arctic battling abominable snowmen, on the beach fighting creatures from the black lagoon, and on the moon pitted against aliens and spaceships.
Gamers can choose to play as “Aaron” with his unique powers of vocals and lightning, or “Dave” with his powers of bass and bat. As you advance to higher levels in the game, players will receive codes to unlock and activate other character members of the band: keyboardist/guitarist “Kenny,” drummer “Hayden” and guitarist “Christopher.”
AWOLNATION is currently offering a free six-song “Holiday EP” available now for download exclusively at www.AWOLNATIONmusic.com/holiday. The AWOLNATION “Holiday EP” features four live tracks, including the hit songs “Sail” and “Not Your Fault” alongside fan favorites “Soul Wars” and “Burn it Down” from their debut album Megalithic Symphony (Red Bull Records). Also included is the studio track “MF,” taken from their debut EP titled Back From Earth that is no longer available, as well as a rendition of their soon to be holiday classic “Silent Nation.”
