Long Island’s own BLAMESHIFT will be hitting the road with LA based band EVOLOVE for a three week co-headlining trek along the west coast on the AWAKE THE STATE TOUR 2012, presented by Alternative Revolt Magazine. Upon the tours’ end, Blameshift will enter the studio with producer ERIK RON, (Panic At The Disco, Versa Emerge, Four Year Strong) with the speculation of a major label deal.

The four members of Blameshift have been blazing their independent path across the nation over the better part of 4 years, logging well over 150,000 miles with no signs of stopping. With a high powered list of sponsors, their music as a full time job and a tour bus powered by vegetable oil, the band have independently booked 13 national tours, including select dates on the Vans Warped Tour. Hot Topic recently named Blameshift their band of the month along with premiering the bands’ music video, generating over 50,000 views.
Tim Barbour (guitar and vocals) had this to say about the tour, “We’re stoked to get back out to the West Coast again. Between playing NAMM, touring with Evolove and recording all back to back, it’s gonna be one hell of a run.”

EVOLOVE (pronounced Eh-Voh-Luv) were thrust into the national spotlight as finalists of the FreeCreditScore.com band search. Debuting the group’s commercial during the MLB All-Star game on FOX, the spot amassed millions of impressions across broadcast and cable spectrums. Significant airplay on outlets such as ESPN, CNN and CNBC led to further exposure on MTV and LA’s KTLA TV.
