Montreal-based indie folk artist Galen Hartley has made his 2000 album Orgy of the Senses available for free via Bandcamp as a special holiday offer for his fans.

“Although this is pretty funny, it’s not really a joke”, says Hartley. “I think I really was trying to make an awesome pop album, but yeah… it makes people laugh. Anyway, it’s totally ridiculous, slightly legendary and I just thought it would make some folks happy to hear it again. My friend Nathan Jonson (AKA underground techno/dubstep weirdo HRDVSION) once called it “God’s music,” a claim he likely still stands by.”

Hartley is also set to release his seventh studio album, Good Dreams, in early 2012.
