We are very privilaged to host 2 bands from Italy’s Cruz Del Sur Music and 3 bands from Germany’s Pure Steel Records at Warriors Of Metal Fest V Open Air in 2012.
Warriors Of Metal Inc. is proud to announce the return of the 2 time Wacken Open Air, and WOM Fest II Open Air (2009) veterans of Twisted Tower Dire back to our stage for our 5th year anniversary show in 2012. TTD will be supporting their 5th full length album entitled Make It Dark released through Cruz Del Sur Music on May 13th of this year. We have always been impressed with Twisted Tower Dire’s performances, are big fans of theirs and are glad to welcome them back to our Metal family in Ohio.
Also signed to Cruz Del Sur Music is Franklin, Pennsylvania’s Heavy Metal band Argus that played at Wisconsin’s first annual Days Of The Doomed & Germany’s Hammer Of Doom V Festivals in 2010. They will be supporting their Boldly Stride The Doomed album released on May 3rd of this year through Cruz Del Sur Music and their Sleeping Dogs EP
released this past July through Pariah Child.
Signed to Pure Steel Records, Keansburg, New Jersey’s Power Metal band, Exxplorer was formed in 1982 and their first full length album, Symphonies Of Steel which is hailed as “A truly legendary album” by The Metal Observer, was released in 1984. Subsequent albums followed in 1994, 1996 and of course this year’s Vengence Rides An Angry Horse released through Pure Steel Records on October 21st and still receiving great reviews from around the world, these Traditional Power Metallers have made one hell of a comeback! Exxplorer Played Keep It True XII & Headbanger’s Open Air in 2009 and SwordBrothers Festival X in Germany on Sept. 2011 and we are very excited to host them for our Warriors Of Metal Fest V Open Air in 2012.
Also hailing from New Jersey, the Pagan Power Metal band Fiakra (whose band name is an alternate spelling of the ancient Irish word for Raven) will release their 2nd full length album Invasion in early 2012 through Germany’s Pure Steel Records. The Warriors Of Metal Fest audience will enjoy their epic Power Metal with hints of Thrash and Death Metal, songs of the dark ages, ancient battles and epic sagas of the past. Those who like their Pagan Metal dished out in full Medival / Dark Ages armor, swords and battle axes will be in for a treat!
Power Theory hails from Philadelphia, PA and is signed to Pure Steel Records who released their first album Out Of The Ashes at Keep It True XIV on April 29th of this year. They will play at Warriors Of Metal Fest V Open Air in support of the release of their 2nd album, Axe To Grind which is slated for a Spring of 2012 release by the reputable German label. The seasoned musicians in Power Theory play their no-holds-barred brand of East Coast Power Metal with a European attitude and have shown themselves to be great supporters of rejuvenating and preserving the American Traditional & True Metal scene which is exactly what Warriors Of Metal Festival Open Air is all about. Metal fans everywhere are highly advised not to miss their chance to see all of these bands in action next summer on June 29th & 30th, 2012 at the Frontier Ranch, 8836 York Road in Pataskala, Ohio (just a 20 inute drive East of the capital city of Columbus, Ohio).
