Portugal’s Buraka Som Sistema recently released their much anticipated sophomore album Komba last year, which they were describing as an exploration of the borders between life and death, and ultimately was a searing mix with their hyper-timed dance music approach. They are returning to North America starting next week, and just in time for their handful of shows, MTV Hive rolled out the premiere of the “(We Stay) Up All Night” remix from Montreal DJ duo Botnek . In addition to a headlining show at the Bowery Ballroom in New York, and the epic Holy Ship Festival featuring the likes of Diplo, Gina Turner, A-Trak, and more, Buraka Som Sistema will be playing Igloofest in Montreal, as well as Washington, D.C. The new album is out now in North America.
