Getting in touch to let you know that we’ve announced the first of many events that the RED BULL MUSIC ACADEMY will bring to New York City from September 30th to November 2nd as part of its annual program.
SBTRKT and key contributor/collaborator Sampha will bring SBTRKT LIVE to New York City on October 11 at Terminal 5, with Kilo Kish and RBMA participant Scott Koreless opening. SBTRKT’s self-titled debut album was released by Young Turks last summer and made it to many year-end “best of” lists, including the #1 spots on Spin’s Best Dance Album list and Rhapsody’s Electronic Albums of the Year list.
Koreless is one of this year’s 62 RBMA participants. The carefully selected participants include producers, vocalists, beatmakers, instrumentalists and DJs from 29 countries and six continents who will come to NYC to encounter two weeks of lectures from musical luminaries, work together in custom-built studios and perform in NYC’s best clubs and music halls.
