Following a stage stealing performance at this year’s Lollapalooza and a string of dates with Kaiser Chiefs and The Temper Trap, empires have been capturing the attention of a wide range of concert goers with an explosive live show and a sound that Consequence Of Sound praises as “Springsteen-esque classic rock” and “The Gaslight Anthem and The Killers in their best moments.”

Continuing to support their acclaimed album Garage Hymns, a powerful rock and roll record that’s been praised by MTV, AOL Spinner and MSN, empires will once again hit the road for a bunch of headlining shows this month and will support Blue October beginning September 30.

empires “brought as much force and passion as anyone all weekend,” raves Red Eye Chicagoabout the band’s recent Lollapalooza performance. “They really deserve a bigger stage, if not, someday, an arena.”

MTV Hive is currently spotlighting fan favourite “Keep It Steady.”

Visit Alternative Press and check out songs like “Night Is Young,” “Can’t Steal Your Heart Away” and “We Lost Magic” and see why Rolling Stone calls empires “a big, multifaceted, tower-of-power” with a sound “inspired by the independent spirit of 90s grunge.”

Along with Fun., The Lumineers and Neon Trees, empires are currently being spotlighted as an up and coming artist in Taco Bell’s 2012 “Feed The Beat” campaign. http://feedthebeat.com/
