Progressive instrumentalists SCALE THE SUMMIT have begun working on their next album, the follow-up to their highly acclaimed 2011 release “The Collective,” which Guitar World cited as as “essential prog.” A spring 2013 release is expected.
Guitarist Chris Letchford announced the following: “We just started work on our next album. The material we have written so far is definitely pushing us into new territory. Very excited to see what we create! It’s been a lot of fun writing these songs with our new bassist, Mark Michell. He is a very skilled and talented guy, so these songs will definitely be our best yet! Looking forward to getting them all finished and recorded so we can get out there and play them live. SCALE THE SUMMIT have been no stranger to the road over the past few years.
