The first effort from “Eminem Presents: The Re-Up” was a weak track from Eminem featuring Cashis. This is the second single from this album, and this will determine largely whether “The Re-Up” will be a success or just another album that will be gathering dust at music stores worldwide. The immediate thing that one will notice about “Get Low” is that the strings of the backing beat provide an excellent canvas in which Stat Quo is able to shine. Unlike the flows of both Em and Cashis on “You Don’t Know”, the flow Stat Quo introduces eirself to listeners with on “Get Low” is something that can be seen as a hard, strong approach to rap. However, there is enough harmony present in eir flow that individuals could conceivably turn this into a dance track. There is a lot of potential to this track, and one can only hope that the other tracks on “The Re-Up” will be more in this vein. The four tracks on this single are just reiterations of the same single (clean, dirty, instrumental and a capella), but one has to wonder when Stat Quo will get eir time in the spotlight, perhaps with eir own LP or at least more starring roles in tracks.
