The Associates has released a preview stream of Devyn Rose’s “I Am… D.E.V.Y.N” project. Devyn Rose gave an early premiere of the video “Pieces” on VEVO, Tuesday (Oct. 30) which was originally scheduled for November 2nd, following an interview with Georgette Pierre Radio (georgettepierre.com) and urbanmusicdaily.net. Fans were also able to view the video on iamdevynrose.com exclusively for 24 hours following the premiere.
“Pieces” is a song that was completed over the course of a year, touching on a rebound relationship where her partner ends up being used and hurt as a result. The singer invited fans to take a sneak peak of the music video last month with the behind the scenes and the video trailer.
The “I Am… D.E.V.Y.N” EP, which will be available online and through a partnership with Frostwire, one of the leading open source peer-2-peer file sharing applications and in a video stream available on youtube, previews the five new EP tracks with titles like “Heartbeat”, “Whipped”, and “Dream”.
