European electro-pop duo The Green Children have recently shared the official lyric video for their latest single, “Feel the Light.” In addition to the song’s charming lyrics, the clip features illustrations and animation by Steven Bussey (Queens of the Stone Age, Sia). The track appears on their new Feel the Light EP, available now on iTunes.
After meeting at Sir Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts and quickly signing with Universal after graduation, Milla and Marlow decided the best fit for their 2010 debut album, Encounter, was Jackson Browne’s Spinside Records. The album received rave reviews from Rolling Stone, Mobo, and more, and the single “Dragons” peaked at #3 on Amazon’s free pop chart.
The duo are also active philanthropists, establishing The Green Children Foundation in support of microedit, education, and healthcare. They also partnered with SOS Children’s Village to raise money with their official remix for Foster the People’s “Houdini,” gaining over 1 million views and raising more than $10,000 for homeless children.
