Crossing the pond from Bristol, UK production duo KOAN Sound are gearing up to convey spirituality via electronic music en masse to live audiences across North America this April and May. The pair, consisting of Will Weeks and Jim Bastow, will be riding high on the momentum from their coming Dynasty EP, which will see an OWSLA release on April 1st. The EP’s lush atmospheric soundscapes will undoubtedly enrapture both critics and fans alike, while the duo’s ever-sophisticated signature funkstep, which belies glitch, 70s funk and bass, will set feet in motion. KOAN are teaming up with Santa Cruz, CA based bass music party crasher Minnesota as coheadliners for this run of dates for a guaranteed transcendental evening. The tour kicks off in Boston at Middle East on April 22nd.
