Having established themselves as one of the UK’s most exciting prospects, Leeds’ Menace Beach have confirmed details of their hugely anticipated debut album. Ratworld will be released 19th January 2015 (UK /Europe) 27th Jan 2015 (North America) on CD, heavy splatter colour vinyl and good old-fashioned download.
Recorded across the summer, heavy melody abounds on Ratworld with Menace Beach forging a triumphant collection of loose-limbed noise pop. The first taste of which – ‘Come on Give Up’ – is available as a free download from www.menacebeach.co.uk, where you can also pre-order the album with an exclusive t-shirt.
Menace Beach are led by Ryan Needham (vocals and guitar) and Liza Violet (vocals, keyboards, guitar), ably assisted by MJ on guitar and production duties, Nestor Matthews on drums and Matt Spalding on bass.
