Why Can’t We Be Together is a frenetic track that will have listeners singing along after a scant few listens. The band is able to refresh the music style of AFI and My Chemical Romance and put their own spin on the track. The sing-along section of this track is as catchy as Pennywise’s “Bro Hymn”, but the tender emotionality that is laced through this effort shows a maturity that few bands can successfully utilize.

What a lesser band would mangle is done well by The Royal Guard, creating a momentum that will have listeners firmly glued to the edges of their seats. Just Let It Go continues showcasing the same strong and confident side of The Royal Guard but highlights the lyrical complexity of the act.

I Wanna Know is a high-energy rock effort that provides listeners with a fulfilling blend of multiple vocals, electronic and traditional arrangements, and a style that has The Royal Guard take up hints of Alkaline Trio, Avenged Sevenfold, and OK Go. The band builds off of the rich New England/NY rock tradition to create something that a wide subset of listeners can sink their teeth into. Hail The King is another high-water track; this titular cut is rock radio ready while having a depth that will hold up to repeat listens. The Royal Guard possesses the talents necessary to impress fans that would hear the tracks during a workout or on their commute just as well as those that would dissect each riff, drum beat, and lyric on an album.

Make it a point to visit The Royal Guard’s website for information about the band’s discography; the band’s ReverbNation and Facebook contains samples of the band’s music and the latest in news updates about this intense act.
