“Good For You,” the eagerly awaited brand-new single from multi-platinum singer and actress Selena Gomez, is available now for digital download . Produced by Nick Monson and Nolan Lambroza, the track features chart-topping rapper A$AP Rocky, who also co-produced it along with Hector Delgado. The video for “Good for You,” directed by Sophie Muller (Beyoncé, Rihanna), is scheduled for release Friday, June 26th. “Good For You,” is the first single from Gomez’s forthcoming album, which will be released by Interscope Records.
iHeartMedia will host an exclusive World Premiere event to introduce “Good For You” to music fans across the country. Beginning tomorrow, June 22nd, at 6 am ET, “Good For You” will officially premiere across all iHeartMedia CHR radio stations and run at the top of every hour through 11 pm local. In addition, the single will be available on-demand across iHeartMedia CHR station websites, as well as iHeartRadio.com.
Gomez’s 2013 album Stars Dance debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart and spawned the international hit “Come and Get It,” which earned the Grand Prairie, TX, native her first No. 1 single on the US Top 40 chart. Gomez, who has sold over 21 million singles worldwide, followed up the success of Stars Dance with a sold-out world tour.
Gomez has also had significant success in film and television, making the transition from young actress to adulthood with such films as Harmony Korine’s Spring Breakers and William H. Macy’s Rudderless, opposite Billy Crudup. This year, Selena wrapped three films: Hotel Transylvania 2 opposite Adam Sandler, The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving opposite Paul Rudd and James Franco’s In Dubious Battle opposite Robert Duvall.
