Aspen Brewing is set to release a sour blonde this winter; Cougar (6.5% ABV) will be rolling out from the brewery in 22 ounce bottles and is part of Aspen’s Temerity series.
Christmas Day, 2015, the Aspen Brewing Company will release one of its longest aged, most intriguing beers, the Cougar. This Sour Aged version of “This Season’s Blonde” has spent its life aging in French Oak barrels sharing its quarters with the finest Organic Colorado peaches and our proprietary sour mix.
Now, aged to perfection, the Cougar has been known to bite. She is slightly sour but graciously complimented with sweet peach and citrus flavor.
The Aspen Brewing Company, brewing and bottling in Aspen, CO, is a craft brewery focused on creating the finest beers inspired by the outdoor lifestyle.
