On Thrill of the Kill, Gabriel and the Apocalypse create a hard-hitting blend of metal, industrial, and hard rock. The chunky, intense sound of the single will simultaneously get people on the dance floor while attacking them. There are good nods hear to Resurrection-era Fear Factory, Kittie, and Arch Enemy. With killer guitars, splashy drums, and a supersonic set of vocals, I perceive big things are on the horizon for Gabriel and the Apocalypse. One just needs to hear the band stopping on a dime and shifting into another style to fall in love.
