Felly’s “Wide Angle” is a bass-heavy rap track that takes up the standards of R&B, reggae, and trap music to make a single that is distinct from the other singles out now. Felly’s flow is half rap, half R&B, while the bars laid down by Konshens provide a nice boost to the single’s momentum. Konshens’s patois sends Wide Angle into a much different style; the rapid-fire flow works nicely with the drum and bass that plays at the bottom of the single. The spontaneity of Wide Angle is great as it means that each second of the three-plus minute run time is distinct from the rest of the track.
