The huge sound of the vocals during Alabama Rain will cause heads to turn; the DuShane Band here is able to call back to an earlier musical tradition that is headed up by performers like John Mellencamp. With emotive guitar lines and drums creating a solid backdrop for these vox, Alabama Rain is a track that many will be able to identify with and all will be able to appreciate. The instrumental section that acts as the bridge here showcases the raw ability of the players, making for a much stronger track than much of what’s being played on country radio.
