Carolyn Marie’s Man Eater is a track that deftly links together pop and rock genres in a fashion that will appease a wide swath of listeners. Marie’s vocals are able to hit all of the right notes as the dark and brooding instrumentation provides highlights at all the right places. A hint of echo on the guitars, on-point drums, and smart repetition turns this from a solid track into something that fans will be singing along with after a few plays. We’re excited to hear more from Carolyn Marie, especially if the tracks contain the same sizzling riffs that one will hear at the three-minute mark.
