On Seven Past Sunset’s Overwhelmed, a heavy rock sound is matched well with supersonic vocals. The act is able to call back to the late-nineties and early-2000s post-grunge style. With guitars that tie together Meshuggah, White Zombie, and Papa Roach, the track is able to assault listeners while the charismatic vox draw fans back from the void. The production of Overwhelmed ensures that the disparate sides of Seven Past Sunset are able to contribute to a cohesive sound that could easily slot in alongside Staind or early Godsmack. We’ll be blaring this out of NeuFutur’s windows throughout spring.
