On Disko Anksiyete, She Past Away is able to blend together Depeche Mode, The Cure, and Bauhaus into a brilliant melange of synth-pop, gothic, and industrial genres. An insistent synth line and haunting vocals unite, enrobed in early-eighties glory. The video (attached below) shows that She Past Away is a multi-media act, providing younger fans with a look into what the first part of the decade tended to look like. The track even brings hints of Flock of Seagulls to the fore, with the finished effort something that shines as brightly in the current musical scene as it would have thirty-five or so years back.
