Cool is an infectious pop song that has just enough of EDM-infused synths playing at the bottom of the single that fans can’t help but to be swept onto the dance floor. The blending of vox and keys during the chorus is reminiscent of Owl City and The Rocket Summer. Considerable charisma is brought to bear here; the rising and falling of Belle Vex’s voice here will have fans sitting on the edges of their seats. As Cool moves inexorably to its chorus, the gradual increase in the cut’s momentum will lift fans’ spirits. Easily able to hang with modern pop playlists, Cool is a track that has considerable replay potential. Expect to hear the song through the rest of 2019.
